Based on the concept of a project object model         (POM), Maven can manage a project&#8217;s build, reporting and documentation from a central piece of information&#8221;.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m pretty impressed on what Maven can do for my projects, I&#8217;m sure it would do as well on yours! I&#8217;ve assembled this small tutorial on how to use Maven from inside NetBeans 6.5 IDE.</p>
