Sqlbox as a Kannel add-on

A lot of stuff has been happening lately on the Kannel project: lots of new patches, bug fixes and even a brand new development release.

With the release of Kannel 1.5.0 Development Version on Oct. 20th., Sqlbox is now part of Kannel’s distribution.

This is really great news, because you’ll get SqlBox along with Kannel.

You’ll also get OpenSmppBox as well (an Open Source SMPP server implementation for Kannel).

You can get the new release on the Downloads Page as usual. Browse down to the Development Release section.

Hope you enjoy it!

Alex

Hola Alex,

Gracias

Hi Alex,

For the 1.5 Dev trunk, is this already fixed for sqlbox?

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=590692

On that link, at the bottom of the page, there’s a provided patch to fix the issue but upon browsing the svn repo of the latest sqlbox, affected files still remains the same.

Any advice on this?
Thanks and regards,

That would happen if you compile more than one DB type support. I wasn’t aware of that patch, it should be sent to the Kannel mailing list for evaluation.
